h4. What is Polimedia ?

"Polimedia" is an audiovisual format and a producction procedure designed originaly by [Politechnic University of Valencia|http://www.upv.es] (UPV) Media Service.

In "Polimedia learning pills" video from professor and his presentation (PowerPoint or any VGA Computer screen) are blended together in an atractive way. Polimedia format works great on mobile devices too.

The production of "Polimedia pills" is easy and inexpensive using a "Polimedia Mini-Set" for recording and an OpenSource based post processing procedure. (also developed by UPV)

h4. Galicaster based Polimedia Mini-Set

Galicaster can be succesfuly used as the core multistream recorder of a Polimedia Mini-Set.

* Use the same technology for Lecture capture and Polimedia Recording. Keep it simple, Flat learning curve
* Recordings can be one-click ingested directly to an OC-Matterhorn core for enrichment and publishing.
