  1. What screen resolution should I use to run Galicaster?

Galicaster is prepared to run on 1920x1080, 1280x960 and 1024x768. Other resolutions would work but some defects could appear.

  1. What computer should I use?

Depending on the Hardware (link), an Intel (R) i5 should cover most of the capturing devices.

  1. The recording preview hasn't started. What should I do?

Try activiting the devices one by one. Once you identified the problematic one, check it and its configuration.

  1. The webcam freezes after a few seconds running.

Probably, your computer isn't powerful enough to handle the webcam. Try stopping programs that could be troubling the webcam and change the output resolution to a lower one.

  1. I* can hear anytihing on the preview.*

Probably Galicaster is muted on the sound control of your operative system or maybe the audio device you are using is muted or with a too low volume.

  1. I can't hear anything on the recording.

Check the sound control in your operative system if your audio device it's muted or in a too low volume.

  1. Galicaster isn't getting any signal from my laptop.

After ensuring that your laptop is sending the signal properly, check your configuration, the capture device it's problably misconfigured.
If you have further problems, check if the resolution it's compatible with you VGA framegrabber
